Cancer parent - Aries child

Cancerian parents love the security of home life, and having their little chicken nestled securely under their protective wings. The Aries child will definitely rock any idea of domestic bliss that the Cancerian parent might have. The little ram has far too much energy to hang around in one place for long, and the elder Cancerian must guard against creating too many restraints for its fiery little offspring. This smothering effect will only dampen his enthusiasm for life in general. Instead, encourage the young Aries to take part in plenty of sporting activities to use up his vast store of competitive energy. The Taurean child will fully appreciate the Cancerian's ability to create a secure and safe home environment. They both thrive in such circumstances. Taurus will soak up all the love and attention heaped upon her by her adoring Cancerian parent, and such an upbringing will create a strong and solid bull, who will work from an early age to build a similar sort of domestic security for itself. There might be some confusion between these two, who have completely different priorities in life. The Cancerian parent wants to be sitting in by the fire with the security of the family around her. Domestic bliss is what they want from life. That's not nearly enough for the mind of the young Gemini, which is active and restless. If she has to stay at home, she will be chatting on the phone or insist on having some friends over, otherwise she'll be out and about socialising and networking. The Cancer parent must understand and respect her offspring's need for constant activity, and rather than dampen her restless spirit, accept it and just provide a safe and secure environment to which she can come back to and recharge her batteries at the end of a busy day.

Two like minds here that enjoy peace, security and domesticity. It might be difficult for others to crack their shells and drag them out of the house for any length of time. Home is where they feel comfortable and safe. The Cancer parent instinctively understands this need in her offspring and creates a safe environment in which the young crab can feel comfortable. The only thing to remember is that they will both need sufficient space from each other. The famous Cancerian moodiness could end up making a battlefield of this parent/child relationship, unless he is given the time to work through it on his own without pressure or interrogation.
